Dr. Sai P Gundlapalli is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Specialist, trained extensively in both interventional and medical aspects of pain management. He is the Medical Director of Advanced Pain Center, PA.
Dr. Gundlapalli completed his Interventional Pain Management fellowship at the prestigious New York Presbyterian Hospital affiliated with Cornell and Columbia Universities in New York City. During his Fellowship, he received specialized training in orthopedic pain management and managing RSD/CRPS at the Hospital for Special Surgery and in cancer pain management at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He received his medical degree with honors from Bangalore Medical College, and subsequently received his Masters in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Gundlapalli has authored many research publications and is a member of several professional organizations. He is trained in advanced techniques in pain management including implantable spinal devices, radiofrequency neurolysis, nucleoplasty and disc decompression. He is a compassionate physician with excellent bedside skills and strives to alleviate pain and improve function and quality of life with minimally invasive spinal techniques.
